Australian ski resort Mt Baw Baw has a rather different weekend ahead, celebrating all things Bollywood, on snow.
The ski area, in the province of Victoria, is located a three-hour drive from Melbourne (an hour less than any other Victoria resort), and a resort spokesperson says the weekend is, “…celebrating our vibrant Indian community.”
Taking place on Saturday and Sunday the festival includes Bollywood dancing by skilled performers, followed by Indian dance workshops for anyone who wants to try themselves.
A Bollywood DJ will be on the decks in the evening at the resort’s Alpine Hotel and food cravings will be sorted with delicious Indian cuisine all weekend.
