The Chill Factore indoor snow centre (www.chillfactore.com) near Manchester is expanding its freestyle offering with Ski and Boardercross competitions staged throughout the summer and autumn.

The new course includes a variety of banked turns, jumps and drops and is open to boarders and skiers alike and as well as opening the run to advanced skiers and boarders, the UK’s longest real snow slope is also holding the Combi Race Challenge for improver levels.

Combi racing is increasingly being adopted by many resorts as a way of introducing kids to the fun aspects of skiing and boarding and with a course including snow waves, jumps and giant slalom gates.

Combi Events are to be staged on 28th July, 25th August and 15th September with full competitions providing exciting viewing for spectators on July 22nd and 23rdm, August 24th and 25th and  October 7th and 8th.

The centre will also stage the British Ski & Boardercross Championships on September 29th and 30th and the Northern Freestyle Competition on November 3rd and 4th.  Entry to take part is £32.
