Avoriaz staged its second pre-season opening last weekend and visitors enjoyed great conditions.
The resort issued two successive powder alarms on Sunday and Monday for a total of 50cm of fresh snow.

It’s looking like one of the best starts to the seasons ever coming up this weekend when the Portes du Soleil is fully open.
Bases are currently 30-90cm with temps below freezing and another 50cm of fresh snow forecast to fall for opening day.
