The heavy January snowfalls have eased off in the Portes du Soleil leaving Avoriaz with a huge base that should see it well in to spring.
There’s 190cm at the base of the mountain, 340cm at the top.

There was an inch of snow on Sunday and a similar amount is forecast for Wednesday but mostly the weather will be dry with sunny periods.
All 34 lifts are open and 48 of 51 ski runs – so more than 95%.
