Conditions in Avoriaz and the wider Portes du Soleil are superb after the huge snowfalls through January.
All the snow forced the ski area to close sectors at times due to the resulting avalanche danger and logistical issues. Now however the avalanche danger has dropped and the sun is out giving fantastic conditions.

Locally 36 of 51 runs are open – that’s 90% of terrain, 33 of 34 lifts are operating and the snow depth is 200 – 360cm. With temperatures low and the sun out, it doesn’t get uh better than this!
