Avoriaz is finally fully open daily for the 17-18 season and looking good with a 100-140cm base after weeks of almost constant snowfall.
It’s the best base for the start of the season for some years.

Most of the resort’s runs are open, as are connection to other resorts in the giant Portes du Soleil region.
Temperatures remain well below zero and should do in to the weekend giving good conditions up to Christmas, although there’s currently no fresh snow in the immediate forecast.
