The Altitude Comedy Festival which has taken place in the Alps every winter for nearly a decade has announced it will be back in Mayrhofen in the Austrian Tirol for its 10th staging next winter – but will be two months earlier in the ski season than previously, taking place from 11th-15th January 2016 rather than in its usual March slot.
The festival’s organisers have put early bird tickets on-sale although as yet there are no line-up announcements. However over the past 10 years, Altitude has built a reputation for bringing many of the world’s top comedians, including Eddie Izzard, Jimmy Carr, John Bishop, Tim Minchin, Bill Bailey, Micky Flanagan, Jo Brand, Kevin Bridges, Nina Conti Frankie Boyle, Sean Lock and avalanches more, to some of Europe’s most charming and intimate venues.
Early Bird Full Week Festival Wristbands are on sale at £155.00 (plus booking fee) and will rise to £185 (plus booking fee) later.
VIP Altitude Tickets, which not only gives you entrance to all Altitude shows, but also a free bottle of wine (or up to four beers) for each one of the Gala shows, plus reserved seating, also a meet & greets with the comedians with free drinks and food, a chance to compete in the clown hill race, and a limited edition Altitude t-shirt are available at £225.00 (plus booking fee)for the Early Bird Full Week VIP Festival Wristband, rising to £280 (plus booking fee) later.
Day tickets will go on sale during the festival and a stellar line up announcement is also promised soon.
