One of Switzerland’s most beautiful ski resorts, Crans-Montana has a lot to offer those who love the mountains!

1. Family Fun

Having been awarded the Family Destination Label from the Swiss Tourism Federation, Crans-Montana is well recognised as a fantastic resort for adults and children alike. This season, they are taking family fun up a notch, with a brand-new winter family festival.

From 6 December to 5 January, the Etoile Bella Lui festival will take to the heart of Crans-Montana, helping the whole family rediscover the magic of winter, with an enchanting lantern path, craft market and a large wheel in the town centre.

2. Sunny, Snow-Sure Slopes

At 1,500m above sea level, with slopes going up to 3,000m, Crans-Montana is a high-altitude destination, meaning it enjoys an exceptional snow record year after year. With a wide range of runs to suit all levels of skier and snowboarder, as well as plentiful off-piste opportunities, Crans-Montana is sure to keep everyone entertained on the slopes.

Many slopes here are south-facing and so benefit from awesome Alpine sunshine throughout the day, perfect for those that like to lunch on sunny restaurant terraces or work on that goggle tan!

4. Non-Skier? No Problem!

For those who may prefer to spend their winter getaway off the slopes, there is a huge amount of options for non-skiers in Crans-Montana, from peaceful winter walks and relaxing hotel spas to husky sledding and outdoor ice rinks.

What’s more, incentives are available for non-skiers to eat up the mountain and soak up the incredible panoramas, with vouchers that allow the cost of your lift ticket to be taken off the bill!

Later, skiers and non-skiers alike can enjoy varied après-ski, from lively bars to sophisticated, luxury establishments.

5. Try Out Ski Touring
