December is delivering the goods for Whistler Blackcomb! Which has over 3,000 skiable acres now open, and have received 375 centimeters (148 inches) of total snowfall since November 1st.
16 cm of fresh snow and a high pressure ridge arrived on the weekend and brought more sunshine, and gradually milder alpine temperatures. Alpine inversions may happen under these conditions, which will affect freezing levels.
