After a fairly dry and sunny week across much on North America last week, things have turned decidedly snowy again with heavy snow on the Western side of the continent once again and plenty more snow in the East too.

Resorts in California continue to post amazing snow totals, several now with more than 5m of snow lying but Mammoth up at around 8 metres.

But other Western states continue to look very snowy too, several posting 30-60cm snowfalls in 24 hour periods at resorts in Colorado, Idaho,  Utah and Wyoming

North of the border in BC resorts have had up to a metre of snow this week with Whistler (pictured top and below) getting 64cm in 48 hours last weekend.  To the East in BC Apex, Fernie, Kimberley and Panorama were among areas reporting 60cm in three days.

In the East the snowfalls have been smaller but they’ve kept coming, giving great conditions here too.
