It seems to keep getting snowier as spring comes nearer in Italy.
The past few days has seen snowfall across most of the country’s ski areas with resorts like Passo Tonale and Arabba in the Dolomites whilst there was 25cm at Madesimo and 30cm (a foot) at Chiesa – all in 24 hours.

There’s a real weather mix for the week ahead as we enter spring with more snow forecast, some sunny days and some cloudy.
Conditions look generally good for Easter though with deep snow the norm, particularly on higher slopes (Up to 4.3m report, 3.1m at Cervinia) and most of Italy’s lifts running and slopes open.
