It has been a snowy week in Italy with the country’s western resorts getting the biggest snowfall totals again, but equally snow falling in to the Dolomites with afoot of fresh cover at San Martino.
As much again is expected in the same areas over the next few days ion the run up to the weekend. This time the Apennines should Also get dumped on.
Snow depths are good across the Italian Alps and Dolomites with Cervinia – open in to May – now reporting over 2m on lower slopes and up to 4m on upper runs – the deepest in the country.
