This is our Verbier Snow Report and Forecast 9th January 2018, with thanks to Sega Fairweather and Alpinemojo Ski School.
The storm has finally passed in Verbier, and the slopes have been looking great over the weekend. With an upper snow depth of 230cm and a low freezing level, conditions are very good. The above video was taken over the weekend when many people were out enjoying the sunshine after a stormy week!
This week, conditions will be varied, with snow, clouds and sunshine all set to make an appearance. A dusting of around 4cm on Tuesday will set the week off nicely, followed by another 5cm over Wednesday night and Thursday. Friday and Saturday will be particularly nice, with the sun reappearing for what are sure to be some fantastic skiing conditions. Another 3cm of snow on Saturday is well placed to top up the slopes to prime condition. Wind speed remains low, with highs of 15km/h and temperatures will be consistent around the -7 degree mark.
