Whickham Thorns has a 40m Ski Slope, divided into two, making ideal for beginner to intermediate Ski lessons with our qualified and experienced Ski Instructors. We offer individual, family, group and school lessons; as well as birthday parties. 

 

Snow Tubing is also available for parties, groups and open sessions.

Whickham Thorns is run by Gateshead Scouts, and offers a wide variety of Outdoor Activities for individuals, families, groups and schools. Activities can be run as a single activity, a half day package, full day package or long term programmes. Our other activities include:-
