Skiing is a core part of the centre, with private coaching, group lessons, ski camps and recreational skiing available for a variety of ability levels. Tuition runs seven days a week and must be pre-booked. Recreational skiing sessions are available for intermediate and advanced skiers, while beginners can learn through structured lessons and youth programmes such as the Trailblazers sessions and the Saturday Junior Club. The site features several slopes, including nursery slopes for beginners and a larger main slope for more experienced skiers.
In addition to skiing, The Oakwood offers a variety of outdoor adventure activities. Visitors can take part in Ringo rides and sledging on the dry slope, tackle the high ropes course, or compete in the laser tag arena. These activities are available for individuals, groups and children’s parties, making the venue a popular destination for birthdays, holiday camps and team-building events.
The wider Oakwood site also includes a gym, fitness classes, coworking spaces and The Lookout clubhouse, which offers food, drinks and views across Surrey and West London. Equipment hire, including boots, skis and helmets, is included with skiing activities, and helmets are compulsory for children aged 14 and under.
