Over the past few weeks, Tignes has seen a huge amount of snowfall. However, over the Christmas weekend, the cleared up somewhat and allowed for a beautiful blue sky for the big day.
With cold temperatures bringing lows of -26 (with wind chill) today (Thursday), Tignes is set for a chilly week, with Friday night forecast around 70cm of heavy snow. This will clear up over the next few days, with a sunny Sunday that is be sure to be an incredible day’s skiing thanks to all the fresh snowfall. The snow will return on Sunday night, with over 1.5 metres forecast over Monday and Tuesday, with the snow continuing through the rest of the week. While visibility may suffer, the snow conditions are sure to be amazing.
