The Tamworth SnowDome is to stage a ‘This girl can’ Ski & Snowboard Discovery Day for girls and women on Saturday 15thAugust with special guest British Olympian Jenny Jones in attendance.
This Girl Can is a celebration of active women up and down the UK who are doing their thing no matter how well they do it, how they look or even how red their face gets.
The first ever This Girl Can ski and snowboard discovery and progression event will run from 9am-1pm on the 15th and participants can sign up for ski and snowboard 45 minute tasters for first timers or hour long ski and snowboard progression sessions where coaches will offer hints and tips to take your skills to the next level – each delivered by female instructors, available to girls and women of all ages, and priced at £10 per lady participant.
Jenny Jones, Olympic medallist, will be hanging out with the girls on the snow, chatting and answering questions… they’ll be chance to get a photo and an autograph too!
