This is the St Anton snow report for the week ending 19 November 2017. The Arlberg has seen a lot of snow this week, fantastic for the resorts of Lech, Zurs and of course, St. Anton!
With 30cm of snow falling earlier this week, St. Anton is in a great position to open next month. The 2.5km long cross country ski track in neighbouring St. Christoph is already open, as can be seen below.
The piste bashers have also been out and about, making sure that the slopes are in prime condition for opening day, which is now less than three weeks away!
While the mountain is already looking great, much more snow is forecast this weekend, with up to 22cm on Sunday alone. Pretty good for mid-November we’d say!
