The organisers of the annual Snowboxx Festival in Avoriaz say that they are determined that after the disappointment of being forced to cancel this year’s event, Snowboxx 2021 will be the best ever.
“We are disappointed we are all going to miss it this year, but plans for 2021 are already underway and we are determined to make it the biggest and best in Snowboxx history!” said a statement from the organisers.
They are hoping that those booked to attend this year’s event, which should be underway this week, will transfer their package to 2021 rather than cancel.
“We have been working hard to adapt to this unprecedented situation and to be able to offer a number of alternative options that hopefully will make up for the enforced last minute cancellation,” the statement continues.
The options include a number of perks for those who are able to still travel in a year’s time. The perks include a 75€ in drink vouchers, a free après igloo (“to make up for lost slopeside raving”) a free pass to the Aquariaz indoor tropical water pass in Avoriaz and 30% off merchandise.
“Thanks again for all the support messages you have sent. We appreciate how patient you have been while we liaised with all the partners and suppliers,” the statement concludes.
