It’s been a snowy week in quite a few parts of North America over the past week, with recent snow in areas that haven’t had too much this season – including Arizona and Colorado – particularly welcome.
Some of the biggest powder dumps however were north of the border at the end of last week with Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada reporting 90cm of fresh snowfall and amazing powder conditions.
The deepest bases in Canada are now in the 280-350cm bracket with Whistler and Fernie in BC both up there.
Resorts in Colorado do however take 14 of the top 15 places for ‘most snowfall in USA over past 72 hours’ with most reporting 30-60cm of fresh snow and that they now have almost all lifts operating and runs open.
