There have been some quite amazing snowfalls in Western North America, particularly in California where most ski areas broke through their all time ‘snowiest month in history’ only 20-21 days in to January.
We are talking Biblical levels of snowfall, if the Bible has much snow reporting? So more than 20 feet/6 metres in three weeks at ski areas including Squaw, Mammoth and Homewood.

All the snow has caused some operational difficulties and access road closures, albeit not on the scale they might be in other parts of the world due to the preparedness and great equipment they have in the US.
The snow has thankfully not just been in California but has continued across Western USA and Canada making conditions great again at most resorts.

The snow is still looking good in the East of the continent too with a few more inches in New England and Quebec.
