Mixed conditions in Scotland with periods of heavy snow and strong wind leaving a mixture of powder pockets and some icy wind blown sections on hard packed snow.
These conditions look set to continue over the week ahead with a mixture of sunshine and cloud in to the start of spring.

Snow depths remain at 20-40cm on lower slopes, 40-60cm on upper slopes which should see the ski centres through to the Ester Holidays at the end of next week so long as there’s no major thaw before then.
Most centres have the majority of their runs open and lifts operating although exactly what’s open can change by the hour with the current changeable weather conditions.
