Robbie Williams has been named as the latest global superstar lined up to play at the famous season-ending Top of the Mountain Concert in Ischgl next May, 2,300m up in the mountains.
Robbie with his full Big Band will play and present their new number-one album “Swings Both Ways” on the giant open-air stage at 1pm on 3rd May 2014.
The set will include: Classics such as “Minnie The Moocher”, a new version of “Supreme” and his latest hit “Go Gentle”.
Robbie follows in the footsteps of some major acts before him at the venue including Elton John, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner and Pink have performed on this stage.
In a departure from previous Top of the Mountain events, which are free to lift pass holders, advance sales of day-ski passes for 3rd May will begin on 7th April 2014 at the higher rate of 115 Euros and will be subject to availability.
Two-day and three day-ski passes will be available only with a TVB Paznaun-Ischgl or Samnaun Guest Card (proving you’re staying in local accommodation) which includes the concert on 3 May, for 125 Euro/135 Euro respectively.
Whether Robbie will take to the skis himself in Ischgl’s Silvretta Arena remains to be seen.
