Rise was one of the few festivals to happen in the 19-20 season as it is staged at the start of the season so was over even before the virus was starting to emerge in Wuhan. It was not so lucky in December 2020 as France banned large events, but its organisers say it will be back for the 21-22 season.
It has already published its dates for next winter: 11th – 18th December 2021.
