New Hotel For Niseko Aims To Fill Gap In Market

Always Niseko, the newest property from accommodation providers Niseko Alpine Developments (NISADE), will open for winter 2016/17 and is already taking reservations.

“It’s time for something a bit different,” says NISADE Chairman Jonathan Martin. “Niseko has a need for lower-cost accommodation that doesn’t compromise on quality or comfort, and that’s what Always will deliver.”

In fact, Always is far from budget accommodation, but NISADE believes the hotel’s 104 modern rooms are available at a price point that ensures it offers “quality yet value accommodation”. Connecting rooms and the choice of twin or king beds will mean configurations for families and parties of all sizes will be possible.
Always Niseko is the brainchild of long-time Niseko enthusiasts Alan Cheok and Wayne Yang, who are aiming to fill a perceived gap in the market. It will feature an on-site café and high-speed wi-fi, and is located a 10-minute walk from downtown Hirafu.

“Just say a group of powder hounds on the young side want to book a ski trip. They quickly find that their options are lower-end lodging, hotels in a higher price bracket or chalets that mean they need to get a certain number of people to commit. This is the ideal option for them: affordable rooms, a buzzing, social café and a vibe that is centred on making the most out of a Niseko adventure,” said Alan Cheok.
