It has been one of the more exciting weeks this season for Californian snow fans with a rare snowfall for winter 2018 – more than 30cm has fallen in the past few days.
The new snow has taken the season-to-date snowfall at Mammoth’s main base lodge to 2.5m (100 inches).

Most of the resort’s terrain is open and most lifts operating.
