What does a luxury ski holiday for younger children look like? Ski resorts, tour operators and individual properties are all striving ever harder to create ever more for children in ski resorts. Leading French areas have been particularly pushing children’s spa treatments in their facilities in recent seasons.
But possibly the best so far is the Consensio Children’s Club, run by the luxury chalet operator.
“From the moment you arrive, your little one is gifted a Charlie teddy bear and a challenge card to complete during their stay. The chalet staff are on hand to help assist children complete their activity card (when not busy with their daily responsibilities). Activities include pizza making classes, best snowman competitions and creating the craziest snow dances,” said a statement from the company, which works with ‘The Little Concierge’ a premium baby product company who can supply all your baby products and essentials to your chalet before you arrive
In addition Consensio’s chalet chefs work with parents and children to create a menu which is healthy but attractive. For babies purees are created freshly each day.
In terms of child safety, Consensio’s chalet pools are fully secured with door locking systems, stair gates and baby monitors. They also provide children with contact wrist bands to give parents peace of mind whilst they are out skiing.
