There’ll be no groomed runs on the Bellecôte glacier above La Plagne from this winter on, the French resort has announced.
The Bellecôte glacier, formerly a summer ski destination, is the highest point of La Plagne’s huge ski areas, which boast 2,000m of life-served vertical. The aim of the no-grooming policy is to make the area even more appealing to advanced skiers and boarders, a resort spokesperson said.
