Tour operator Inghams say that guests staying with them over New Year can receive a day’s “free” skiing, which they say is on New Year’s Day 2017, when they book a holiday with the company that week.
Inghams are offering Friday departure in December at the start of the coming season so that their guests don’t have to travel on Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve, which both fall on the traditional changeover day, Saturday, this year.
They revert to Saturdays on the first weekend of January 2017, meaning people booking trips over New Year can enjoy an eight-night holiday, departing Friday 30 December 2016 and returning Saturday 7 January 2017.
“Skiing on New Year’s Day will be completely free as all Inghams’ travel inclusive (a package with flights, transfers and accommodation) holidays include a one-day free lift pass and one-day free equipment hire,” said Rachel Gaston from Inghams.
To qualify for the free New Year’s Day ski offer on lift passes and equipment rental, Inghams’ guests should pre-book book seven days’ equipment hire and/or lift pass and will only be charged for six days.
This offer must be pre-booked and is not available in resort, and the free lift pass offer only applies to local area lift passes.
