Groove Cairngorm, billed as the UK’s Only Snowsports & Music Festival, is returning for 2018.
The festival will take place at Badaguish Outdoor Centre and Cairngorm Mountain from the 23rd – 24th February. So far, the lineup for the event includes 2ManyDJ’s, Shaka Loves You, Norman Jay MBE and Start to End (who will be performing DAFT PUNK’s Discovery live) with more acts to be announced in the coming months.
The snowsports elements of the festival will be hosted by CairnGorm Mountain, while Groove Cairngorm will be providing local acts (DJs & acoustic) for entertainment over the course of the day on the mountain and at the restaurants.
Free shuttle busses are provided for festival pass holders between Aviemore and the Cairngorm mountain for the snow sports during the day along with free shuttle bus transport starting at 3pm from the mountain back to Aviemore and Badaguish. Shuttle busses will also be operating between Inverness and Badaguish for those who want to attend the Groove Cairngorm music element only.
Passes for snowsports must be purchased alongside as the “Apres-ski festival pass” if you are wishing to attend both events.
Ticket prices are £75.55 for the full two days of the music festival and £54.78 for a 2-day Mountain Pass. As the two must be bought separately, you can modify your bookings, with options for one, two or three days’ skiing, and one or two nights of music. There are also youth and shuttle tickets available upon booking.
