Our Kjus Freelite Jacket Review comes from ISPO 2018, where we couldn’t wait to get a look at Kjus’ innovative new jacket for ourselves.

The world’s first fully knitted ultra-stretch ski jacket, the Kjus Freelite Jacket feels like a sweater and offers the best weather protection possible. It’s available for both men and women and also contains a detachable hood and neckgaiter for added warmth.

With double the amount of stretch than in a “normal” woven ski jacket, Freelite opens up the body’s natural flexibility. To make the Freelite knit fully weather protected, Kjus have paired the fabric with their exclusive KJUS FAST 20 membrane and DWR coating. The result is a jacket which is completely waterproof (10’000 mm), yet breathable (20’000 g/m² / 24 h). Keeping you warm even in wet conditions, Polartec Alpha dries considerably faster than common insulation materials.
