Eider Danaide Jacket Technical Features

  • 4-way stretch – Comfort and fluid movement thanks to the fabric’s stretchiness.
  • Defender – A product of Eider research, the Defender® membrane guarantees garments that are at once waterproof, windproof and breathable.
  • Detachable snow skirt – Offers optimal protection against snow, even if freshly fallen. This zip-off snow skirt lets you convert your ski jacket for other uses.
  • Ergonomic hood – The hood is built to wrap the head perfectly. Adjustment, courtesy of multiple tightening points, opens up the side view and does not impede head movements.
  • Low Impact – LOW IMPACT is a unique standard based on two essential eco-design criteria : eco-friendly material (at least 40% of the product weight must use eco-friendly material), and certifications (at least 80% of the product weight must be BLUESIGN® approved).
  • Active Fit – Close fitting all over the body, and slightly tighter in the lower section for greater streamlining and thus higher performance during exertion. Often used with stretch fabrics for enhanced comfort.
  • Motion Insert – 2019 innovation : Motion insert, used at strategic areas, increases freedom of movement and breathability.
  • Primaloft Thermoplume Insulation – Down-mimicking high-end material, it behaves like down, is blown like down in baffles construction and provides equivalent insulation, comfort, touch and puffy effect. Benefits : the jacket stays insulated even in wet environment.
