Our first look at this boot for 2026/27, based on the brand’s specs and fit information. We’ll add a full InTheSnow review once our testers have skied it. How we test.
Armada has been making freeski skis for years, so a boot was only a matter of time. The AR ONE 130 MV GW is part of Armada’s first ever boot range, and it’s aimed squarely at skiers who like to charge.

What makes the AR ONE different?
Armada uses Hybrid Cabrio Construction, its take on the three-piece Cabrio design that’s known for a smooth, progressive flex, and pairs it with a 130 flex for strong skiers. Powershift lets you adjust the boot’s geometry, and the Slingshot Buckle is designed to hold the ankle and heel firmly.
Both the Memory Fit shell and the Team Liner are fully mouldable, so a boot fitter has plenty to work with.
Who is it for?
Hard-charging, freeride-minded skiers with medium-volume feet who want a stiff boot that still flexes smoothly. It isn’t a beginner boot. If you need a walk mode for touring, check the details with the shop before you buy.
Our InTheSnow view
A first boot is a big step for any brand, and Armada has gone straight for the strong-skier end of the market. Cabrio-style construction has a loyal following for its smooth flex, and pairing it with a heavily customisable fit is a sensible start. We’d want to see how a first-generation boot holds up over a full season before calling it, which is exactly what our testers will do.
The InTheSnow verdict
A confident first boot from Armada for strong skiers who want a smooth, powerful flex.
What we like
