Meanwhile, opening day itself was slightly more white, with fresh snow arriving as the lifts opened.

If opening weekend is anything to go by, it’s going to be a fantastic season in Courmayeur. The coming week has more snow forecast, from Tuesday through until Saturday, which is sure to keep the slopes well topped up.
