When the last of Italy’s resorts close next weekend, Cervinia will be carrying on through May, albeit with weekend opening only.
In any case until then cross-border skiing to Zermatt remains possible, and next weekend there’s a ‘ski in your swimwear’ day lined up on Saturday May 5th.
Currently the base is 165 – 420cm, (6 – 14 feet) with most runs still open and there’s even fresh snow forecast over the next few days to end April and for the first day of May.
