In the second World Cup podium in six days for the British national ski and snowboarding squads, GB Park and Pipe snowboarder Jamie Nicholls has taken second in the World Cup Slopestyle in Seiseralm, Italy today. This follows his World Cup Slopestyle win last season in the Czech Republic.
Nicholls (23) said after his podium finish: “I can’t believe i made it on the podium today in Italy. It’s been a tough couple of weeks with a little injury, but today was a good day in the office!! I can’t wait for the next few weeks.”
Billy Morgan narrowly missed out on a podium finish, having to settle with fourth. And teammate Rowan Coultas claimed seventh. In the women’s competition, Aimee Fuller put in a solid run to finish in 5th position overall.
