Mission completed. For the Swiss Daniel Albrecht the upcoming skiing-winter is about to become the decisive season in terms of his comeback-endeavours. After years of a successful partnership – Daniel Albrecht celebrated all his victories, among these four world-cup victories as well as gold and silver in the skiing World Championship in 2007 in are, on Atomic – what follows is a farewell in all friendliness.

“Great success, worrying weeks, Daniel’s hard way back to the race-track: The things we from ATOMIC and Daniel Albrecht have experienced together and shared during our successful cooperation are of permanent value”, comments Wolfgang Mayrhofer, General Manager for ATOMIC on the mutually agreed termination of the supplier-cooperation.

It is a farewell in all friendliness. “Dani has already in the run-up to this so important season for him uttered the wish to re-orient himself in terms of material as an additional motivation for his comeback-endeavours. In his situation this is not unusual but very understandable. We have discussed all possibilities with Dani in order to keep him in the team. But since it is all about a changing impulse for him we have accepted his wish and released him regardless of his contractual binding. Thanks to his success as well as due to his exceptional comeback Dani is among the greatest ATOMIC-athletes of all times, even when he skies on other material this winter. With this in mind we wish him all the best for his further comeback. Ski-sports needs athletes like him” says ATOMIC Race Director Rudi Huber.

Further on and highly motivated in the ATOMIC Racing Team Suisse are top- athletes such as the winner of the Olympics, world champion and winner of the World Cup Carlo Janka and the new Swiss skiing super talent Justin Murisier.
