The Altitude Comedy Festival has announced its back next spring 2020 and tickets are already on sale.

Although only a few of the acts have been announced this far in advance, we do know the Festival will kick off at 5pm on Monday 30th March 2020 and run to the following Friday 3rd April.

We also know that a limited number of early booking wrist bands are available for £99 and that they’re selling fast.  There are also an even more limited number of Early Bird VIP wristbands.

For those unfamiliar with the Altitude Festival (also known as “the funniest show on snow”), it essentially comprises a week of evening gigs in various formats and lots of daytime fun on and off the slopes.  Wristbands get you access to all but you’ll need to book a holiday to be there too.

The festival began life in Meribel more than a decade ago thanks to the efforts of comedians Andrew Maxwell and Marcus Brigstocke, but moved to Mayrhofen in the Austrian Tirol some years ago now. And that’s where it will be returning to in 2020.

Both Maxwell and Brigstocke are very much involved with the festival which Maxwell continues to compare.

Also so far confirmed for 2020 Michael Mittermeier, Zoe Lyons, Christian Shulte-Loh, Emmanuel Sonubi, Ryan Cullen, Matt Reed, The International Impro Allstars and Oh My God! It’s The Church

Over the years most of the great and good of British comedy have turned up at altitude with names including John Bishop, Tim Minchin, Sean Locke, and Eddie Izzard all performing.
