Action Outdoors, the UK arm of the UCPA, a not-for-profit organisation that provides great value ‘sport for all’ holidays in the French Alps, has made it even easier for young people between the ages of 18 and 25 to get out on the slopes this March.
The offer includes £100 off selected holidays in Tignes or Argentiere in March, and covers the all-inclusive nature of the UCPA. For example, a 7 night ski holiday in Tignes, departing on March 24, normally costs £779 per person, including 7 nights full-board accommodation with three meals a day, 23 hours of ski instruction for all levels, ski pass for the Espace Killy and equipment hire. It’s coming in at £679 with the code MARCH100 if you’re aged between 18 and 25.
Just flights and transfers from Geneva Airport to add.
Tignes is currently recording some of its best snow conditions in years, with over two metres in town and nearly four metres on the upper slopes. The mid to long term forecast is for much of the same, so March is being predicted as being one of the best in a very long time and traditionally it’s one of the best times to ski anyway. Fact: there’s always more snow on the mid and upper slopes at Easter than there is at Christmas.
Argentiere in the Chamonix Valley is faring just as well with over four metres of snow reported on the upper slopes. Known for its off-piste and ski touring terrain, the UCPA run a course during March as an introduction to ski touring and the normal price is £889 for 7 nights departing on March 17 – already great value considering that includes full-board accommodation, weekly ski pass, equipment hire and instruction and guiding. Reduced by £100 at £789, then it’s a great opportunity to learn ski touring in a safe environment with qualified instructors from the UCPA’s own ski school.
Valid from 14th Feb – 28th Feb
Use the code: MARCH100 to get £100 off (not valid for existing special offers or short break trips)
