North American ski holidays specialist Ski Independence is warning that the booking window for those looking to get the best deals on holidays in Canada and the USA end this month.
Of course there are always deals coming and going, but in North America, the company says, the standard practice to try to attract skiers and boarders early is to offer big discount on accommodation – with up to 60% savings on the full rate – for those who book by the end of this month – 31st August. There are also special offers on lift passes, transfers and flights.

In Whistler there’s up to 60% off and free double upgrades at The Fairmont Chateau Whistler, or 50% off and free double upgrades at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler and up to 70% off lift passes. Prices for flights, transfers and accommodation on a seven night holiday in early December are from £1098 per person at the 5-star Fairmont Chateau Whistler.
At Panorama Mountain Village there’s a 50% saving on lodging, transfers and lift tickets on selected dates with seven nights at the 3-star Plus Panorama Specialty Townhomes costing from £899 per person including flights and transfers in early Decermber.
Or at Banff, seven nights at the 3-star Plus Banff Caribou Lodge in early December is from £999 per person including flights and transfers, a 25% saving.
Packages quoted include flights from London Heathrow but regional departures are available at a supplement.
