Our Zermatt Snow Report and Forecast December 2017 comes from Iain Martin, staying in Zermatt with Matterhorn Chalets.
Zermatt has been having a fantastic December, with some decent snowfall and this shows very little sign of changing. The piste conditions are wonderful and the snow cannons are even running to keep those pistes perfectly topped up!
As we approach Christmas, a few light snow showers will be replaced by blue skies and sunshine. Until Boxing day that is, when the snow is set to return. This should refresh the piste well after this period of good, slightly warmer weather over Christmas.
