Ski With A Living Legend in Cortina

Cortina d’Ampezzo’s beautiful Hotel Cristallo has announced that its guests will have the chance to ski with one of Italy’s all-time great ski racers this season.

Both Kristian Ghedina and Deborah Compagnoni are working with the famous 5★ deluxe hotel and are happy to ski with hotel guests, subject to availability.
In addition to private arrangements, the Cristallo has put together a brand new package that will allow guests to spend a day “skiing with a champion”.

Kristian Ghedina or Deborah Compagnoni will guide guests around the extensive local ski area and – if they’re brave enough – down the famous Olympic run to Rumerlo, where the Olympic flame burned during the 1956 Winter Olympics.
Alternative activities such as ice karting, snow walking, snow kiting and many more can all be arranged by the experienced concierge team at the Hotel Cristallo.

Adding to a long list of unique experiences available to Cristallo guests, the team at the hotel can arrange for an exclusive shopping spree at Franz Kraler, a luxury boutique in the centre of Cortina d’Ampezzo that will only open its doors after hours for Cristallo guests.

The Skiing with a Champion package includes three nights in a junior suite and costs from €2,370 for two adults sharing. It includes a full day skiing with Kristian Ghedina or Deborah Compagnoni, daily breakfast and full access to the hotel’s swimming pool, thermarium and gym.
