A number of airlines fly direct to Innsbruck from the UK. Innsbruck Airport is located 65km (41 miles) from the region. The list of airlines serving Innsbruck evolves overtime but includes BA, easyJet and Jet2. Alternatively you can fly to Salzburg (144 km / 90 miles) or Munich, Germany (160 km / 100 miles).
Arriving by rail if you’re heading to Wildschönau, take a train to Wörgl railway station, then continue on by bus to Niederau (10 km). Or for Alpbachtal, take a train to Jenbach railway station, then take a direct bus to Alpbach (15 km). Direct trains run from Innsbruck (30 minutes), Salzburg (80 minutes), and Munich (70 minutes).
By car it’s a 45 minute drive from Innsbruck via the A12 motorway.
