Drones and skiing have a mixed-history. The marvellous hovering devices have been used to capture incredible footage of the slopes and talented skiers and boarders doing their thing like never before, and have also been used for search and rescue, but they’ve also crashed in to ski lifts and nearly taken out ski racers when they’ve dropped from the sky, leading to most resorts banning their use.
But some resorts are offering a more structured use of drones as an organised activity, with Les Menuires in France one of the latest to offer this. Easy Drone provide a drone flying taster session to anyone who fancies learning the basics of flying. You can hone your skills on a fun course and create o a family photoshoot with videos and photos of your adventures on- or off-piste.
The one to four hour photoshoots for groups of 2 -4 people cost from €45 per person.
