This is an InTheSnow review for the Armada Victa 83 Women’s Ski 2018.

A great intermediate ski at an even better price, the Armada Victa 83 is very well balanced and offers optimum stability across all areas of the mountain. If you are looking to build up your confidence across terrains with a forgiving, reliable ski, the Victa 83 is a very good choice.

The narrowest ski in the female focused Armada Victa series, this ski allows for easy turn initiation and keeps a smooth edge running through the whole turn.

The small tip rocker and small waist size make turns almost effortless and allow you to really enjoy yourself on the slopes.

The adaptable nature of the Armada Victa 83 means that it is perfect for an intermediate skier looking to progress and develop their skills both on and off piste. With a partial twin tip, the Victa 83 is a playful ski that is versatile enough to take into the park as well as onto powder.

However, unlike some all mountain options, the Victa 83 refuses to sacrifice piste performance for the all mountain title. So, if you are interested in exploring different terrains but want to do so at your own pace, without compromising your technique on piste, this ski would be a great purchase.

You won’t have to worry about keeping up with anyone on this ski either. The Victa series uses Armada’s fastest base, the popular Comp Series Base, meaning you’ll be at the front of the action. The Armada Victa 83 also boasts a power-lite core which maintains a smooth, stable yet powerful experience. Carbon and Kevlar struts within the tips are strategically placed both to give an added pop and to make the ski more durable, adding to its lifespan. The AR50 sidewall is completely underfoot rather than in the tip and tail, reducing swing weight and adding again to the durability of the ski.

The Armada Victa 83 2018 ski is a perfect ‘one quiver’ all mountain ski and sitting happily at the lower end of the price spectrum at £300, we are sure it will be a popular choice this season.
