Back to Baqueira Beret

It’s undeniable that good food is one of the most enjoyable parts of a ski holiday – when you ski hard, you also need to make sure you’re keeping yourself fuelled up!

Thankfully, in Baqueira Beret, good food is highly important. The areas’ plentiful restaurants and bars are constantly being increased and improved, with 29 first-class eateries currently dotted throughout the area.

Five are themed restaurants on the slopes, located at easily accessible points on the mountain: Refugi San Miguel in Bonaigua, Restaurante Grill Cinco Jotas in Baqueira 1800, Moët Winter Lounge in Orri, Restaurant Pla de Beret in Beret and Borda Lobató by Ron Barceló in Baqueira 1500.

Along the slopes and particularly on the Beret 1850 terrace and Baqueira Bar 1500, there is a DJ or live music every weekend, giving a friendly feel to the end of each day. You can then enjoy the resorts’ various après-ski offerings, which provide something for everyone at the end of a long ski day, whether you fancy live music or a fireside glass of wine.

In recent seasons, the resort has also enjoyed an interesting initiative from the Winebar By Viña Pomal and Pub Drinkery, both located in the Hotel Montarto public area in the Baqueira 1500 Forum. Popular eating and drinking spots, they offer a great combination to enjoy your post-ski dinner and drinks without needing to drive if you are staying at the foot of the slopes. Safety first!
