The Tirol sent a film crew were at the recent Kaunertal Opening and made this video snow report.
While some of the best snowboarders and freeskiers showed off their tricks during the Contest in the Snowpark Kaunertal, other skiers were able to carve their first turns undisturbed on the wide glacier pistes and enjoy the beautiful mountain scenery.
The other glacier ski areas in Tirol have also opened for the ski season.
