The award-winning range of Slight skis has now opened up its doors to those of you who want a narrower, more all-mountain offering. Their lightweight construction means less tiring skiing, but with no reduction in edge grip, smooth turn initiation and stability at speed – a superbly versatile ski.

As the narrowest offering from Scott’s latest generation of crossover skis, the Scott Slight 83 has been designed to attack the front side of the mountain. The newly developed elliptic SSCL Carbon/Aramid construction draws upon Scott’s longstanding heritage as carbon experts to push the boundaries of lightweight performance. The revolutionary unidirectional and triaxial carbon braids woven into a paulownia, fibreglass and aramid sandwich construction allows for excellent torsional rigidity despite the low weight to see you power through your turns.

With the smallest Pro-Tip Rocker at 250mm, the Scott Slight 83 provides increased precision on pisted slopes. In order to make the ski more forgiving in variable conditions, Scott have used their 3Dimension Sidecut and Pre-Track technology. The award-winning sidecut design allows for easy turn initiation, stability and power in all conditions. With Pre-Track technology, a unique tip and tail geometry allow a variable effective edge based on the type of terrain that you’re skiing. A smaller edge for short radius turns on hard-pack, with a longer edge for bigger turns in softer snow.
