The family-friendly village of La Tania offers a quieter and cheaper alternative to the bigger resorts in the renowned Three Valleys, France. Nestled between Courchevel and Méribel, it’s easy to access both destinations before settling down in a self-catered chalet in the evening.
The small, traffic-free resort has mostly ski-in, ski-out accommodation built in the traditional Alpine style. A gondola whisks skiers and snowboarders up the slopes, while beginners can make use of the free drag lift to practise their turns before tackling the longer pistes (totalling 600 km).
Stay at Les Chalets de la Tania with Ski France to make the most of this ‘hidden’ resort. The chalets are decorated in the traditional French Savoyard style and guests can enjoy an open plan living and dining area with a fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, and cosy bedrooms.
A week’s stay, from 2 January 2021, in a four-bedroom self-catered chalet (sleeping up to eight guests) costs £985 total (was £1,516 total – saving 35%). Accommodation only.
