The Snow-Camp Rally, a fun fund-raising event which involves driving between the five English indoor snow centres in one day, is back for 2017!
The competition last took place in 2013 but organisers Snow Camp say this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever before.
The Snow-Camp Rally, taking place on the 10th November, will see 20 teams of skiers and snowboarders complete in the epic road trip, to ski or snowboard at the five English indoor snow centres within 12 hours!

Kicking off from The Snow Centre Hemel Hempstead, each team of four must ride as many runs as possible across the five indoor snow centres in under 12 hours, finishing at The SnowDome Tamworth where teams can claim themselves victorious and celebrate the day’s achievements!
The last time the rally was staged it raised over £7,500 towards Snow-Camp’s work with inner-city young people.
The event is open to any skiers or boarders who want to take on the challenge. A £100 registration fee per team of 4 (£25pp) is required on sign up, then each team is set a minimum fundraising target of £1,000 (£250pp).
“With almost 350 miles of tarmac standing in your way, five slopes to ride in total and 30 minutes at each slope to ride as many runs as possible at each of the partner slopes, this is no easy challenge!” said as Snow Camp spokesperson, “With an overall event fundraising target of £20,000, and by raising awareness about Snow-Camp’s work simply by being involved, this will have a significant impact on Snow-Camp’s work!”
